| In my early teens I wanted a handbag (fashion of the day was those box-shaped black patent ones with buckles) I was looking through a chest of drawers in my parent's bedroom and I found the most hideous drab brown plasticky handbag. I worried for weeks about how to act when I had to open the present. I had to pretend to be so pleased with it on Christmas day. I never went looking again. |

| Yes, my sister and I knew where my mom hid the presents so when she would go to work and we were on break we would go down to the basement and we would see all of these presents but we didn't know which ones were ours so what we would do is see which ones we wanted and if we didn't get those ones on Christmas we would trade. Once I told my mom that we looked in the basement and she got so mad at us, and also sad because she wanted us to be surprised. Now I am old enough that she and I don't care, I pretty much pick out my own gifts because I am such a hard person to buy for these days. |

my parents hid them around the house, and i always found them! my sister always told me what it was beforehand, and my relatives gave the choice of opening them on Christmas day or then and there when they came to visit ........ keeping Present Secrets is something my whole family needs to work on, LOL i still love Christmas though because the gifts was never my main focus, and even if i knew what it was it was still fun to get it |
