Buy yourself a reality-check! Holy smokes are you a sucker! This invented holiday was invented to take your money chump. You got her all that stuff and you aren't even married to her? Wow, she is going to leave you eventually, and you are going to kick yourself that you spent all that money on her. (you will) I say, stop giving her those things! You are creating a spoiled brat that will turn on you when she doesn't get her way, and you don't keep "upping the ante" on gifts on every occasion. She is long distance? Oh my G*d! What a fool you are...... you are so stupid dude.....I can't even write anymore, you disgust me.

If you know any of her friends, enlist their help. Get some 3 x 5 notecards and make a scavenger hunt for her. Start with reminding her about the beginning of the relationship. On one side of the card write something nice to her. Progress it along from the moment you met, to when you fell in love, to when you knew she was the one, etc. On the other side of the card tell her where to look for the next card (clue). If you can get a friend of hers to hide the cards in her room or around her house or a place she frequents, that is even better. The friend could even fill out the side of the cards that requires the knowledge about the location. This will impress her so much! You are far away and this act will seem so close and personal to her. It's cheaper than diamond rings and necklaces with the same effect. Plus the shipping costs won't be bad either...

sometimes an expensive gift isnt the only thing u can give, what about a CD you make yourself with love songs that explain just how much u love her and maybe make a photo album with all ur cherished moments together, add some printed cute pictures from the internet, for example little teddies and cute pics with love hearts and sayings like I love u or I miss u.Another idea get a satin pillow case and have your names embroided on it with something loving and cute added.

hey i did long distance for 3 and a half years so i understand. The best gifts i got from boyfriend were the simple things, like he wrote in a notebook everyday for a moth telling me what he thought and how his life was when i wasn't with him. Another is something from you, like personal. Make her something...like a photo book of the too of you. Stuff made with love and from the heart makes you feel loved and thought of even though their not with at the moment .

When my fiance was living across the country he sent me a hand written letter along with a really cool and romantic piece of art that he made for me folded in with the letter. I could tell he spent a long time on it and it was really cool to have in my room and reminded me of him. Something from the heart is really the best. Perfume is also a good one too. One that you want to smell on her next time you see her.
