so i am 14 years old and i need to find a christmas gift for my mother, and sister. i already got something i can get my dad. But what can i get my mom? shes an ex cop who doesnt kno what she wants and does everything for everyone. i thought about a spa certificate or something like that but she has three already that she wont use. wjhat can i get her?and my sister is a 17 year old senior and she like underground music, and music that nobody in their right mind would like. she is also into feeding the homeless with a anti-war anti-hunger group. what do i get her, she asked me to buy her a fendi bag, but thats not gonna happen. what should i get her?

Something personal for both. Jewelry, hand made or purchased, for either. Buy according to their personal tastes. I saw a charm bracelet that had angels and hearts on it Perfect for someone who believes in angels, or from her daughter who thinks her Mom is one. Perfume is always good, pick their favorite. Clothing works, a cute t-shirt, or a top. Gift certificate for downloads, or to a place that sells sis's music. Even blank CDs would work, if she downloads herself.

I agree with the answer above about making your own jewellery. For your mum you could also make her a "voucher booklet" entitling her to a massage / you cooking one evening / a funny joke to cheer her up after a hard day, breakfast in bed, etc etc. She may appreciate the personal aspect and it's a good excuse to spend some fun time together afterwards when she decides to "use" the vouchers!

First thing why not make a card for your mum , dad and sister with 14 reasons why I love you....Then for your mum, since she does everything for everyone else, give her an IOU booklet. I owe you, a month's worth of dishwashing, a month's worth of doing the laundry and ironing etc. You know what she probably needs help with.Give her a girls night with her friends or with you and your sister, pay her admission to a movie or play she likes, take her to dinner. For your sister, why not donate money in her name to her favourite charities. So even if you don't like her taste in music, there must be a cd or dvd she wants , you won't have to listen to it .Gift giving is about giving from the heart, giving someone something they'd never buy for themselves and giving a gift that's for them not really for you to make judgements over.

I guess I have to agree with everyone. I would suggest a homemade thing for your mom. But a kit with things you can make or build together like a jewelery box. Moms like hommemade t hings made by YOU.You should give your sister a CD of one of her favorite artists.Hope that helps!

What about things for the bath ? Like bath bombs, salts and bubble baths ? Or make-up, jewelery, clothes, perfume ?Does your mom or sister have any interests like gardening or dancing ? If so why don't you get them something related to what their hobbies are

If you want to get something unique you should have a look at http://www.design-yer-own.com They have over 200 different items that you can put your own design on (you upload a photo or image file) and their prices are great - I found their website about 6 months ago looking for something special for the Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles of my New Born Son - I gave them all a Cherrywood Framed Ceramic Tile With a Picture of My New Family on and when they arrived the quality was Amazing and the Family Loved them. They also do T-Shirts, Watches, Mugs etc so theres plenty to choose from. Design-Yer-Own.com have always delivered within 10 days on all of my orders (Yes, I've used them quite alot since I found them). The first order I made was at my door in six days, considering they ship from Hong Kong I think that is Amazing.I'm going to stop going on now as I sound like an advert for Design Yer Own but I really think a Unique & Personal Gift is the way to go. I hope this helps in your decision.
