My boyfriend comes from a modern day, religious (Christianity), well-off & tight family, which consist of his Dad, Mum, younger brother (1Cool & domestic helper. The tough part in deciding the best Christmas gifts to give is that they have pretty much everything & they’re very religious for a modern day family. His Dad – Golf, English Football & Food fanatic. His Mum – Great cook & with handy crafts. His Brother (1Cool – Rock/ Christianity music (he plays a guitar), Rugby & English Football fanatic. Has pretty good taste for fashion too.Whereas for me – A new Christian, with little patience with handy crafts & a lukewarm passion for cooking.Am thinking of something along the line of golf (Dad), kitchenware/Christianity (Mum) & rocker accessory (Brother).Any other creative & thoughtful ideas? =)

If they're a tight family try getting them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant, and a fun family activity. If you go it may give you a chance to get know them better and everyone will all have fun.

This is what I did for my b-friend's family last Christmas:I got a huge, pretty wicker basket and filled it with everything from:gourmet coffees, belgium chocolates, gourmet cheeses and crackers, a bottle of nice wine, european candies and trifles, flavored teas, gourmet cookies, caramels, jelly bellies, etc....Everyone loves food and gourmet treats, especially around the holidays! I tried to pick out imported items [look in TJ Maxx stores for a great variety] and fancy things in pretty boxes... there was such a huge assortemnt of things, that EVERYONE in his family loved and enjoyed it! : )Don't be afraid to add other things like chocolate "golf balls" [for the dad], candles (?), or a music cd [for the brother?], or some fancy cooking utensils for his mom, gourmet olives and cooking oils, ?? just to make it more personal! : )Good luck!: ): ): )

Well first of all if they are nice people they will appreciate anythign you give them. I hope they would notice the fact that you were nice enough to think of all of them during the holiday season and not be rude about what present they got from you. I am not sure about how much money you have or are willing to spend on each person. Dad: You could get him a monogrammed golf towel or something like that. Or tickets to a football game of his favorite team.Mom: If she likes crafts as much as you say you could make something for her like a quilt with soem of her family photos on it. Its pretty easy just take some pictures and fidn a place that will transfer them onto fabric and if you know how to make a quilt or know anyone who does-it shouldn't be too hard. And at least it came from the heart, and its not somethign she can jsut go out and buy.Brother: Maybe some new guitar strings and sheet music of his favorite songs to play, or ones he wants to learn. Or some tickets to a concert.
