| perfume, makeup...maybe a paid day at the spa,, or the works at a salon, like you could get her hair, nails, toes, and a facial for her... Take her out to dinner and the movies.. Give her an open dated handmade certificate for a free babysitting date (where you sit the siblings while she goes out)... send a cleaning service over to her house for one day...cook a full meal for her one night..Theater, ballet, concert tickets? |

| My mother's day gift was a chocholate cake and I bake it myself. The idea of baking came across my mind to make something different, as for my Mom previous birthdays, mother's days and wedding anniversaries, I always gave her cards, books, flowers, vases, clothes, and accesorries. |

she sounds like a hard working mom! why not get her that 'glove wax' thing for her hands...it has parifin wax in it and she soaks her hands in there for a minute and they are rejuvenated. or a day spa package to use on a well deserved day off. a lot of salons will give you a year before the certificate expires. i don't know your age, but a booklet filled with different chores you will do so she can get a break-that's cute. or even have a cleaning service come in and clean the house one day to surprise her...i know my mom is hard to shop for too, so good luck! |

| What about a g/c to a salon where she can pamper herself one afternoon?A mother's ring with you and your siblings birthstones? If it is too much money, maybe someone can chip in to help you.Books, lotion/bath packages, a figurine, perfume, picture, a nice shirt...something smaller to open up on Christmas Day, and then treat her to a surprise lunch date after Christmas. |

In order of price range: a certificate for a day spa while you leave your little siblings with a babysitter, a certificate to get a massage for an hour or two while you babysit the siblings, a nice pair of slippers and some bubble bath and a promise to take your little siblings to the park for a couple of hours so she can have some peace and quiet...get the theme here? Give mom a chance to have a break from the kids so she can pamper herself, if only for an hour or two. |
