| my boyfriend is 19 and is a mechanic. he just got his own apartment but he's pretty set on big stuff. i dont wanna be lame and get him clothes or whatever because i'm sure his mom and grandmother are going to buy that kind of stuff. im stuck on what to get him. his birthday is december 12. our anniversary is on the 23rd and christmas is two days after that. please help with just average gifts you got for your spouses or youve heard of people giving for birthdays, anniversarys and christmas. |

| Whatever you do, please give him something separate for each occassion! Or at least a card for each separate thing and then one big gift or something. I hate it when people treat my birthday and Christmas as though it is the same thing. No one who has a birthday at any other time of year has to deal with that! You could make him a really nice card for your anniversary, one that is creative and uses stuff from your time together. And you could get him something practical for Christmas and something fun for his birthday (like a funny t-shirt or something). Or you could get or make cards for each occassion and get him something to decorate the apartment with (something you know he will like). |
