I wouldn't be amused getting a stuffed animal. You can't get him a cordless drill?

Cute idea, but I can't see an 18 year old guy getting too excited about getting a teddy bear. Perhaps a nice picket knife or something that he collects would be more appreciated.Merry Christmas!

Some of them like them, some of them don't. If you'rboyfriend is the sweet, sensitive variety, then he will probably love it. It might be safer to go with something else, though.

guys don't tend to like stuffed animals. ask him upfront what he would want and buy it because it sounds like the poem is the real gift.

Hey, he's an 18-year-old guy. No, they don't generally want stuffed animals. Why not give him something he could actually use, like a shirt, a movie/video game/book/CD he wants, or making him some food he loves? The poem's a nice gift, though. Smile

I think it's cute, but then again I'm not like most guys. I really think it depends on his personality. And just because sports related things are out doesn't mean everything else is out. Think of something else that he likes, I'm sure you can find something good that suits his interests.

If its an anatomically correct female stuffed animal, lined with really soft fur, its fine!

It's from you, his girlfriend,... so it might be okay. I personally wouldn't want to get a stuffed animal because I would have nowhere to put it and it would be a pain to carry around as I move from place to place. That's me however... what you need to ask is... Is this something that matches him. Not all guys are the same.

Personally i think it's more guys that give girls stuffed animal to the girl. But it all depends on the guy. You could get him a gift card from his favourite store or if he doesn't play sports he must have some sort of hobbies you could get something to do with that. Or you could take him to a night at (restaurant, movie..) and treat him to it.Hope this helps

I'd say no to the stuffed animal for most guys unless he's one of those more sensitive types in which case he'd probably like it. You could also get him something that fits in with his hobbies or interests.
