so everyone knows that christmas is coming this brings the obvious, not knowing what to get or make for others

So for christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and valentines i of course always make or get my bf something, its quite more difficult then it sounds, we are in a long distance relationship so it makes it hard to give gifts, and this christmas i of course want to get him something special and meaningful, However, i have come to the delima of what to give him, like always, i like doing something that is about what he likes or about us, he's in culinary arts school and once i made him a little chefs hat key change for his b-day, for valentines i've made him a little book with a few pictures of each of us with stuff written next to it. but i am going to start early to get him something. but I NEED HELP, please if u have any ideas at all i'de really appreciate it. thanks
