| my boyfriend and i are celebrating our first anniversary as a couple. 1yr together on december 22. christmas is 2 days later (obviously) and already getting him presents for xmas... want to get him something for anniversary but not over/under do it. any suggestions??? what is appropriate for a 1yr anniversary gift? |

| I would suggest making him a nice romantic dinner. That way you both get the sense that you're doing something nice to celebrate the anniversary, but you're not adding to the financial burden of the season. I would also get him a small meaningful gift like the dvd that you watched on your first date or something similar. |
