I don't want roses--I want a rose bush. To me, flowers just die. If you have the bush they bloom over and over again and the thought of the man who gave it to me is always there. I have a Small rose garden.

Flowers (any gift) is really only going to do you good if:1.) She wasn't expecting a gift (Otherwise it is predictable, boring, not attractive)AND2.) You have been sleeping with her for at least 6 months (otherwise it is either a bribe or a reward, neither is attractive)As choice of gifts go, flowers is good, as long as it meets the above criteria. Best to be presented to her by some third-party delivery guy, but in front of her co-workers or other peers.

Some girls do. The way I see it, flowers are just a default gift requiring very little insight into the girl herself.

I do love flowers. It is the thought that counts with me that counts the most though. My idea of a good gift is..." Hey honey, I am grilling steak tonight!" or " Sweetie I will put the kids to bed, you go take a long bubble bath!" I am not hard to please |

Yes flowers are romantic and I love them. My boyfriend never gets me them, I buy them for myself. Perfume is nice. but an everyday gift is flowers for sure.

well to be quite honest with you i don't like flowers as a gift because after all my co-workers get all excited, within two days they die. i love to read and i love music so a good novel or a cd from a singer i love along with dinner and some quality time with my guy makes me happy.

Sure, as long as there are no roses in there. I like to dry them in a sand bath and use them for decorative arrangments. The arrangment in my den is actually last years valentines day flowers.

No, I'm not into flowers or gifts. I'd rather him save his money. I prefer little thoughtful gestures. Like my ex got me one of those one-dollar little cases to you put my daily vitamins in and put in my purse, in case I forgot to take them before leaving for work. Or one time he changed the light bulb in the kitchen without me having to ask. Another time, I had been working long hours for weeks and was totally stressed out, so he did my laundry, folded my clothes and cleaned my house while I was at work. I was so happy to come to a clean and nice house. None of those considerate gestures could have been replaced any purses, shoes or flowers.
