| Flowers. I say that because some girls don't like eating sweets because girls tend to worry about their weight a lot, so I'd go with flowers because flowers for some reason make girls happy plus their something they can show off to their friends lol. Flowers show that you're willing to spend money too. |

| Actually, flowers go with chocolates and vice versa as gifts for a woman whom you love, but since you gave me a choice, flowers may serve the purpose better, especially if they are red roses, flowers signify sweetness and passion, love and loyalty, yes they may wither in time but still they can serve as a collection too and may be dried as an artwork and everytime you see them, they will remind you of the important day.....while chocolates can be eaten so the memories go with it too, maybe you can just keep the wrapper as a memento on that special day.otherwise, for a woman, besides flowers , chocolates, you can present her books,novelty items such as bracelts, necklaces, any art work,or perfumes....ok? good luck in your debate.... |

| Personally, I feel that chocolates and flowers should never be the main gift for your partner. They should be complements to the main gift, not the main gift itself. It's like how a dinner should not be a gift for your partner, but icing on the cake.However, if I absolutely have to choose one, flowers. |
