The best and most creative gift was a cake made out of diapers. It used about 70-80 diapers and had ribbon around it to make it look like a 3 tier cake. So cute and lasted me a long time.

Most creative.. a friend bought me a "Mommy Hospital Care" suitcase. It's a business her friend started.. this adorable suitcase had EVERYTHING in it that Mom and Baby will need in the hospital.. less my own personal clothing. It was awesome and I used almost everything in it.Best gifts that got a lot of use:Wipe Warmer.. my son loves getting his diaper changed with warm wipes.A gift basket filled with.. diapers, wipes, toiletries, Mommy essentials, such as pads, epifoam, witch hazel, petroleum jelly, guaze, a nursing bra.. everything you need to take care of yourself and baby when you get home from the hospital. My pump.. my Mom rushed out to buy this item 2 days after we came home from the hospital.. and my breasts got EXTREMELY ENGORGED.. my son wasn't perfect at latching yet and I needed them drained. A good pump is a must if you are planning on breastfeeding, especially if you are going back to work.Sleepsacks.. my son has 4 of these wonderful wearable blankets.. I LOVE these.. they replace a blanket for sleepingand greatly reduce the risk of SIDS.Fisher Price Papasan Swing.. my son loved this as a newborn and still does.. he's 5 months old.Baby Einstein Discover and Play Activity Center.. he started using this at 4 months and loves it.. of course, you don't need this item initially though. We got a lot of gift cards, those also came in handy when we needed to simply restock on diapers and supplies.I can't say I got the least of anything.. I had 3 showers, 1 was a co-ed shower because my husband and I work at the same company, and we got everything and then some. Best Wishes!

My most useful gift was a gift card for the baby store so I could go and get the stuff I needed that I didn't receive at the shower!

Most creative and most appreciated:My oldest daughter was born a month early via cesarean section. Since she was early, she was 6 days old when we had the baby shower. My aunts hosted my shower and they put out a list for everyone to sign up to bring one meal to us. My husband was working long hours and I was recovering from surgery and trying to take care of this new little blessing. Everyone at the shower ended up signing up to bring a meal. I didn't have to cook for nearly 3 weeks! I cannot express how thankful I was for this thoughtful gift!

The most useful gifts were diapers, wipes, and a baby glider. The least used is a diaper genie disposal, I hate that thing.I didn't get anything creative, just the normal things, clothes, toys, blankets, etc. Gift cards are also useful, than you can get the stuff you didn't get at the shower.
