I ahve purchased some cloths, bibs, passies and a really soft blanket. And I am going to get her some diapers, wipes and all that good stuff. But I want to get her something special since she is my best friend....any ideas?My mom does stain glass so she made this really pretty cross to hang in the window. All of your ideas are great...I have a lot to think about!Oh yeah and my friend who is having the baby is in the Nursing program so she is really busy. Want to be my best friend too? ;)This is really generous of you. I think what you're getting is MORE then plenty, even for a best friend. However, you could buy her a baby scrapbook and get lots of scrapbooking paper, stickers, accessories, etc. Or get some of her ultrasound pictures framed. Just be creative with it if you want to do something special for her. How nice of you! That stuff isn't that expensive at a jewlery store and it lasts forever. you can even engrave. You paper mashet(spelling) the stomach and breasts and that way you can save the pregnant belly and paint it beautiful colors and she can hang it on the babies wall . How many people register for a breast pump and actually get it at a baby shower? Or get her a gift card for where she's registered. It was very sweet and something that he will be able to appreciate as he gets older. I just went to a shower that had this as a gift, and it was the hit of the night.You could also go to a jewelry store and get a baby ring or baby cup that can be engraved. Back to top
