I gave my friend craftsman water hose (lifetime warranty) and a nozzle. He was very happy. 10 years past, they still have same water hose. A matching shower curtain, bathrooms rugs and toilet seat covers would be nice.Matching sets of pot holders and mittens are nice too.Set of pots and pans / frying pans.Set of good knives.Set of towels.Chopping boards (small, medium and large)Iron, can opener, coffee maker are very useful in the house.I can go on and on, but these are some of the few I wanted when I first bought my house.

If they're religious, arrange for a priest to come over and perform a house blessing ceremony, then give a crucifix to hang over their interior entrance door. In some Catholic countries, its believed that blessing the house will bring good luck, a strong marriage, and produce healthy children.

Well, depending on what they're interested in. If it's cooking, why not give them a gift certificate at a nice store that sells cookware and other appliances. Or make a nice basket of food, candy, wine, cheeses, oils and such.If they're interested in interior design, why not a subscription to a really nice magazine. Just some thoughts!
