Well when I go home an hour ago from shopping Oreo was just being very still. He was just sitting still being very alert. I have had his cage on the couch scince 6ish because I just loveatching him. Normally by 9:45 he his very happy, up, and running his wheel. When I had picked him up to say hi and that I love him he just sat on my arm scared to move just like in his cage. He's now asleep in my hand.He was a gift for my dad for Father's day '07 so he's not real old. And heasn't acting like this last night. In all of my years in hamster care, have I never been so puzzeled. He's a teddy bear ham BTWIt just breaks my heart to see him like this.

Make sure his food and water is full! Is everything else alright with him? No runny eyes/nose? Maybe something spooked him. My hamster used to do that. I think it's just instinct.
