So i've been "dating" this guy for about a year but we are both in high school and have kept it simple and havn't gotten overly serious since we were best friends before and want to stay that way as well. I know that we are keeping it simple for Valentine's day, but i'm horrible with gifts. I have issues finding good gifts for family. I was thinking that a cute teddy bear, with chocolate (since he loves it) and a really cute card, but i don't want it to seem cheesy or anything. Anyone have any ideas if if you think he would like this or any ideas of waht kind of things are good for valentine's day?thanksall these ideas are great, but i am still in high school so i don't want something quite so serious or more grown up than we are

I'd go with your idea. Just make sure you keep it simple. If the guy loves choclates, then give it to him.

I wouldn't go with a teddy. It's a guy, right? I would go will a nice shirt. Last year, I got my bf a silk/cashmere sweater. It's something he would never buy for himself but wears all the time. It's comfortable; he wears it too often. No is the time of year where you can find a nice one on sale somewhere.

Well, for my first valentines day with my boyfriend (who is soon my hubby) I worried about the cheese factor to. So I did something for him I'll never forget - he was almost in tears. I made him a book of pictures and things we loved and shared together... and then I made this page called '101 memories about you and me' and just wrote down everything, silly, sad, embarrassing, whatever that I remembered about us at the time. I still do it every few months today, and he LOVES it!! remember- memories are what makes the relationship.Oh and as a side gift I got him a season of his fav. TV show and a bag of various candy bars that were his favorite.
