I know that Bloomingdales does this, but are there any other places to register that offer free gifts from certain vendors when you add so much of their items to your registry? Just for registering, not purchasing. Macys used to but I cannot find the link anymore on their site. Anyone know?

It will depend on the store and the promotion they have going on at that time.

Take a look at this:http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=254624&t=595601This shows you WHERE you can get the free gifts, what they are, and gives links to the individual forms to get the gifts and where to send them. All the info in one place. I'd suggest registering at Macy's.

I got items through Linens n Things - from Cephalon and Calaphon (I think I remembered those names right, they make expensive cookware and bakeware) - but that was a promotion they had at the time.
