|
|
| I'm tired of the traditional flowers and balloons. My sister is in the hospital. She just had a baby but my sister has HELLP syndrome...and will be there for a few days. She's down in the dumps because she does not feel good at all and is hooked up to a ton of machines. She already has lots of flowers balloons, teddy bears, and baby gifts. What could I get her that was unique and creative that she would like that would cheer her up? |

| make her a cool gift basket. you need to buy her a fairly large basket. fill it with all kinds of good stuff, such as candy, chicken soup, magazines, a good novel, dvds, and anything else you can think of. stuff that will make her feel at home, and keep her entertained.and one more thing--- some nice fuzzy socks! i always hated those hospital socks, they never fit right.i hope your sister feels better soon! |

| maybe a cute bath robe and slippers..and a nice relaxing c.d. and ear plugs (as a cute joke to block out all the hospital noise) and one of those things that you put over your eyes when you sleep...also maybe some lundor or dove chocolates and put them all together in a cute basket, bag, or tote....good luck |

| Get her something that SHE would like, not for the baby. Everyone is giving the baby more attention than her, so it might make her feel better if she gets something. |

| How about a gift basket filled with things for her to do while she's laying in bed. Crossword Puzzle books, deck of cards, chocolates, a new novel to read, a book perhaps about babies, a handheld game, magazines, some chips (I was ravenous after I gave birth), etc. |
