me and my boyfriend live 8 hours apart we started dating 2 1/2 years ago in the same town. on tuesday i sent his valentine's day gift so that it would make it to him by today. is it wierd that he didn't think to do the same for me. he will be here tomorrow and we will celebrate but i just thought it would be nice for him to have a gift on the holiday and not the day after...

men don't think the same as women - knowing that and understanding it now will save you a lot of heartache and worry in the future! he is probably focused on giving you something tomorrow.

He'd probably just rather give you the gift in person. There's nothing wrong with that. Don't be so unappreciative.

Guys don't think like that. He rather give you your gift in person. Don't read too much into it and be happy with seeing him Friday.

Well, maybe he has another cuter and more sprecial thing for you ...just wait and youll see, dont rush it, am guessing hell get you something when he comes to where you are :)Be positive and did he mention he got the gift?? does he like it??anyways, i hope you enjoy you rlittle valentines day party and get a better gift than you sent and keep in mind its a celebration of love not gifts :pEDIT* i was just thinking about it , its more romantic to give a gift not recieve it by mail so maybe he thought it would be more special and romantic to handle it to you when he meets you ?

I totally know what you mean, its the principle, that he didnt do it, when you did. Dont let people on here tell you to get over it. its the thought that counts, and he obviously didnt put any thought into it. But he better make up for it tomorrow lol

That's a unique circumstance and if he is coming to celebrate with you tomorrow then you should be happy. He may have been afraid you would not get it on time.
