| Not only should the wedding gifts be returned but also any engagement and bridal shower gifts too. They were gifts given to help with the newly weds married life, if there is no wedding, the gifts should be returned.As for the divorced couple and returning gifts.....one example is my parents they were married 10+ years and used the wedding gifts, etc.....I don't think they would be forced to return those gifts. But if a couple get married and within the next month or so get an annulment, then they should return the gifts, in my opinion. |

You did get the gifts under the circumstances that you were actually going to get married. So if you don't go through with the deed, you need to give the merchandise back  |
