|
|
| My friend is getting married later this month and they have a honeymoom registy. One day when we went to lunch and i asked here when she wanted her gift at the wedding or before so they would know what they have for the trip. She said sooner then later so at her bridal shower i took her a 50.00 gas card it was the wedding gift and i gave that to her along with a gag gift for the shower. Now my question is seance i have all ready given them there wedding gift do i need to bring another one to the wedding or just a card. I thought just a card as i have all ready given a wedding gift and she know it was the wedding gift. |

| Well if she knew it was already her wedding gift then I would say a card is just fine. |

| You have already given her a wedding gift, why would you give another one? Bring just a card |

| Considering you have already given her the wedding gift to her at the shower, a card would be just fine for the actual wedding. |

| You don't need to bring another gift if you've already given her a wedding present. I personally like to bring the gifts before the wedding so the bride and the groom don't have to lug the presents home. Also, traditionally, the gifts are supposed to be sent to the bride's home instead of the wedding. |

| why would you ask her when she wants her wedding gift? I always assume people want their shower gift at the shower and wedding gift at the wedding. people don't get the luxury of picking when they get their gifts, they have to wait until they're married! I hope she knows that the gifts you gave her at the shower were both the wedding AND shower gifts, otherwise if you just bring a card to the wedding she'll think you're stiffing her |
