| i have my mother and my step mother. i think iknow what to get my step mother but as for mom i dunno... she just tells me to choose because i did well with gifts at christmas. i don't want to get her jewelery because she will not wear it. i do not want to get her clothes because thats a lil touchy. i just do not know! i am very artistic. i thought mayb i could sketch her something motherly? any possible pics- if that is a good idea? |

| I did this for my wife on Valnetines Day. Make copies of some of your favorite photos. Growing up, you and your mom, family, etc. Roll them up and place them inside a latex balloon with confetti (optional if she's a neat freak). Have the balloons filled with helium. I had mine filled at a local dollar store. Then give her the bouquet of balloons and let her pop each memory.My wife liked it. |

| A sketch is a wonderful idea. Use your imagination. Forget flowers, candy, or jewlery, its all boring and shows no imagination/thought. |
