Hi everyone,I am currently conducting research for a study into the perception of Gift Cards and whether they are an 'acceptable' gift for someone.Gift Vouchers are being replaced more and more these days with cards, and people see them as a convenient way to get a gift, especially when you do not have a clue what to get someone!Do you think gift cards are a fair gift or just the 'lazy' option? Does it matter who its for and the occasion? Also what is an acceptable fee to pay for a Gift Card before you have even topped it up?Any thoughts would be really helpful, and further still, if you have the time the link below is a really short questionnaire on it (will take 30 secs max..honest!)http://www.my3q.com/home2/223/payzone/66990.phtmlThanks for your help!

I feel that a gift voucher/card is just something someone has gone "Oh ill just get a gift card that will do" and i don't feel there is a lot of thought. However... Gift vouchers/cards can be a very handy gift.

Gift cards are a decent enough gift for someone, especially if you're having difficulty thinking of a nice gift for them. I'd never turn one down anyway! I usually give £15-20 depending on how rich I am at that time!

It can be really annoying though if someone buys you one for somewhere where you really don't want anything from, and you have to find something just to spend it.
