I met this guy a couple of months ago?

To make a long story short I was trying to hook up with this guy for 3 mths we would see each other at the club but that would be it. talk on the phone, text eachother all night, finally i got to the point that me and this guy is never going to hook up, every time I ask him when were we going to go on a date he would say soon, somewhere in there I brought him some boots and a Teddy bear is it wrong for me to ask for my gifts back! oh yeah I did and he said no the bear looks good on his desk. Am i being petty or is he? for not returning the gifts?
