| I'm meeting my girlfriend's parents for the first time. We’ve heard you should bring a gift, but we’re not sure what.We’re traveling from New York to Edinburgh, Scotland, so the usual gifts of wine and flowers aren't suitable.I don't want to look like I'm coming on too strong, so my gf and I think it would be best to get something from us both.What do you think would be good? No flowers or wine!Thanks. |

| how about a book? of something they like, perhaps of America, New York, History, find out what interest them. |
