I like someone, but I'm not sure how he feels. I feel mixed signals. help?

About a month ago, I had a dream about this one guy in my journalism class. He is a photographer. I never really spoke to him, we would just smile at each other. But one night, I had a dream where he and I became best friends. We were best friends but he ended up falling for me. I'm not sure how things ended because I woke up. The next day, I was assigned to take photos for my school yearbook. I had no idea he was going to show up. I never really talked to him, but that day [after the night of the dream] he snuck up behind me. He put his hands over my eyes, and made me guess who it was. I thought he was just being friendly. Since then, we've been talking. I think he might have liked me because he came back from a trip to South Padre Island, and brought me back a gift. Then, We went to the movies yesterday and it was nice, he won me a teddy bear at the arcade. The thing is he doesnt text me very well. but we talk great, does he just not like to text? He flirts, and I do too. help?
