| My little sister is turning forty and I have no idea what to get her. She stays at home with the kids, she likes music, movies, and shopping for just about anything. I'm sending flowers, but can't figure out the perfect gift. Any ideas are appreciated. |

| I think if you have any pics of you two or your family when u were young you should send them to her with a memories scrape book. Middle aged women love that kind of thing! |

| Okay little sister turning the 40. Take her out for dinner and a comedy club with the adults, without the kids! Give her a gift certificate for her favorite store, around 50.00. Time spent together is more fun. Find a very special cake...and I mean very special cake, try to make one yourself that looks just scrumptious, something different and light and springy. She will be more than happy! Buy a ridiculously funny card and be witty. Have her kids sign it with some wit of humor....make it a special day for everyone.... have the kids share the cake. |

| Digital Photo Frame!! You can even get her the card and upload some pics you have of each other so when she turns it on it will have pics on it. You can find cheap ones at Walmart or online. Good luck! |

| For my 40th my older sister took me to the movies and out to eat. Nothing fancy. She even arranged for a sitter for the kids. We went to visit my mom too. It was the best birthday gift I had ever gotten! |
