I went to Things Remembered and bought our moms a photo album. I had "We Love You June 28, 2008" engraved on it. I figured that since both of them love pictures, it will be a nice way to have them show off all the wedding pictures, with a special touch from us. I also got them each a book; why daughters need moms, and why sons need moms.Whatever it is, make sure it is personal to them. If you do that, I am sure they will love it!Also, whatever you decide on, add a special note to them letting them know how much you appreciate them.Good luck!

Suppose a lot depends on the likes and dislikes of the people. I had a daughter married last year. Before leaving for the ceremony she gave me some lovely perfume. At the reception she presented me with a painting of an area that meant much to me when I was young and it was soooooooo much appreciated and hanging in my hall. Message is you think of the person and it will come to you what would be appropriate. It could be something simple that would please them such as a framed photo of their offspring as a child that they had never got round to framing to a spa day, a piece of jewellery, vouchers, theatre vouchers, meal vouchers whatever. Important thing is to give not what YOU want but what you know they will like.

I ordered for engraved silver plated photo frames. After the wedding photo's are developed they will get the photo to put in there too. Have a look at celebrationsplus.com.
