|
|
| I have recently reconnected with a classmate that I had not seen for years. We have become close friends. She is in the middle of a divorce, so both money and self esteem are in short supply. My daughters told me in confidence, that part of her problem with self esteem may be her bra! She is a fairly attractive woman, but you can tell that her undergarment was not well chosen.Last week the girls and I got new bras and I told her I had a 'truely uplifting experience'' and it made me feel physically better. She said the last bras she got were some her husband (soon to be ex) picked out for her 2 1/2 years ago.We would like to get her a gift certificate for bras, but we don't know how to give it to her without hurting her feelings. She is a truely wonderful person, and we would not in any way wish to hurt her feelings IN ANY WAY! |

| get her a victoria's secret gift card! i'm sure she'll see it as you trying to give her something that she can love herself and feel sexy in rather than something to insult her. i don't know anyone who would be insulted by this. instead, i think she would be very happy. |

| Gift card to Victoria's Secret. They have great bras. Pull your friend aside and say something like did you know that you should go for a bra fitting every few years? It's important. Not all women know this. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. If she gets a bra that fits her well then she will notice a huge difference as you know. Tell her to check out the Angels Memory Foam bra (it's new) and the most comfortable bra that I've ever tried. I bought one and then went back for 2 more. They are kind of pricey at $42 each but so worth it in terms of comfort and looks. |

| I say buy her a gift card to Victorias Secret, and tell her to come spend it with you!Say you heard that they are having their Semi-Annual Sale (which is truely coming up in a matter of days). And then tell her that it would be fun! Then when you are there pick up just a random bra and say "Oh my gosh! If only this was my size..Maybe it will fit you! It's so nice! Go try it on!".It will eventually lead to her trying on a couple bras, and..well...buying them. |

| The next time you see her and she looks sad from the divorce, suggest the two of you go shopping for new bras, in a cheerful "it'll take your mind off the divorce thing" tone. But don't act like it's HER that needs new bras, make it look like you're the one who needs them, and she's just coming along, then when you get there help her pick out some things to try on. |
