| As an Italian, I love fruitcake. It is a heavenly dessert for me. But everywhere I go, I constantly hear how people hate fruitcake. A poll showed that 50% of Americans claim fruitcake as their most dreaded Christmas gift. People say the candied fruit looks and tastes like rubber. They say the raisins look like mouse turds. I find that all these fruitcake haters have never actually tried it. They joke about passing it on to relatives they don't like. I need to hear from some serious fruitcake lovers out there. Please tell me I am not alone. Am I the only person on Earth who loves fruitcake? Whether you love fruitcake or not, tell me why. |

| Just look at it!!!It's like...tons of fruit inside jello?? It sort of reminds me of throw up. Sorry.I've never tasted it. Maybe I would like it if I actually tried it, but I can't get past how it looks. |

| nope. i can't say that i love it but i enjoy having it. i once got a fruit cake from someone and it was great. i think i ate the whole thing by myself. i especially love the walnuts and raisins. also i think it makes a difference in the recipe. |
