Wear what you would wear to church. Bring anything! Most people are registered at Target or Babies R Us...just go to the store and check their registry. Diapers are always a good idea!

You might want to dress in a summer dress. Maybe a gift for a girl would be some blankets, bottles, rattles, or even a stroller! I dont think there would be any need to bring anything else exept maybe some chips, drinks,or other food!!!!!HOPE I HELPED!

I've never been to one before, but I'm gonna guess. Also, My aunt had a baby shower, and i've seen pictures as well of my mom's.Just dress normally, like you would going to a small kids birthday party. If you want, there are tons of gifts to get a baby. You could get her some toys, a nice cute dress, maybe some shoes.Pretty much, go to your average store and look in the baby aisle. You could bring a gift for the mom to if you want, just something she'd like, maybe a parenting book, or a book full of idea's for families?Hope this helps |

Bring a gift that the new mother will use for the baby girl. Try a cute outfit or even lots of baby toiletries. Wear a cute summer dress, or a nice blouse over jeans. If you really want to bring anything else, maybe bring a snack to share.

wear a cute sun dress. Is she registered any where that you can get ideas? If not, you could buy a cute outfit with a little stuffed animal....or a diaper bag filled with goodies, like onesies, baby wipes, pacifiers etc. And as a special touch, get the mom something for herself, like body lotion, comfy slippers..something to pamper her.

Baby showers are just a fun little party for the mom-to-be, is all. Nothing formal. If you are doubtful, wear some jeans and a nice blouse. I bought some washcloths to the shower that I went to, which is neccessary, but simple. Most people bring toys, and outfits, or some pacifiers and bottles. Diapers work extremely well, and you can buy a pack, as they do get expensive if you buy them every week for the baby. Just ask the planner if she needs any help, and make this a very enjoyable experience. Have fun!!! Oh, and a card is good, too. Or a gift card. There are some at Target that have a baby on the front and it lights up. Cute!!!

usually they have registries from certain stores of items that they need. I would suggest going off of that list of items and pick something on that you feel comfortable spending on a gift. If they don't have a registry I always find bottles and little outfits are always suitable. You wear something you would normally wear to a dinner out with friends. Not to dressy but not too relaxed either. Maybe some Capri's with a nice blouse and cute sandals or something.

When you call to RSVP, ask how formal the event is so you know how to dress. I would guess some slacks and a nice short sleeve shirt would be fine. Not too dressy, but not 'hey, I found some ripped jeans on the floor'.Before I was a mom I had no clue. I would buy off the registry. Now that I have had a shower and a child, my views have totally changed. If the mom already has kids, PLEASE, buy off her registry. She knows what she has and what she needs. If it is a first time mom, look at her registry and decide if there is anything on there you like. New moms need everything, so any gift is fine.If I was having my first child again, things I would want would be a Swaddleme ($10), some 0-3 month sleepers, and a pack of diapers... honestly that would be best gift you could give ME. Your friend may be different. Also, it is really nice to give her a gift that is for her... so often during pregnancy (and parenthood) all birthday/christmas/etc gifts turn into baby stuff.... it is nice to celebrate her as well. Perhaps give her some Bath and Body works lotion or something. Just a small token item for her.
