| 3 of my good friends are all working together and doing my baby shower tommorrow. i am sooooo excited!!!! they are going all out!!! so i want to get them something for having it for me. i do all their hair so i though, free cut and color, which would usually cost them $80 a piece. or should i do a resturant gift certificate?? are you getting the person who is having your shower something?? |

| try doing something, or getting something for them, that they wouldn't expect. The Hair thing is a good idea, but you could ultimatly do that for them for free anyway. Get each of them something personal, that really showes your appreciation that they did this for you. |

| ooooohhhh Free hair cut n color sounds great...My family n friends are planning mine also...I figure to get them thank you cards, seeing as how they are in their 40-50 and im 18...some of them are younger but not the main ones fixing the shower.... |

| I think its nice to get them a gift, I would say do their hair, I would personally like that best. Im not sure what i am getting the people who are doing my shower yet. |

| I gave gifts to the ladies that gave me my shower. They were my mom's friends and there were like 9 of them. Since there were so many ladies giving the shower, I made them little homemade gifts. They were nice, but I didn't spend that much money on each. I think the free cut and color is a very nice idea. I am sure that they would love it. |

| I would try to make it a personal gift especially if there is more than one. Anything would be appreciated but if you got them all a gift certificate to the same place then personally it seems kind of impressonal....My friend had my shower by herself and afterwards I took her to lunch to her favorite place, just the 2 of us and presented her with a gift certificate to a new local spa. She really enjoyed it but she worked really had to make my shower really special.Good luck and enjoy your shower! |

| Yes, do something nice for the person who throws you your shower. I think the person who suggested taking them to a spa had a good idea. |

| You shouldn't stress about what you give them because they won't expect anything. Friends do things for each other out of love and they will get theirs when they see you enjoying the party they are having you. You can give them something as a thank you gesture but don't stress about what it is or how much it costs. |

| I like your idea (free cut, and color). You need to save your money at this time and I'm sure they'll appreciate your services. If I was having a shower I would definetly get the hostess something, just to say thank you. |
