|
|
| my really good friend is having a baby in October. I've already started buying her gifts now because I'm soo excited. I bought her a few outfits for the soon to come baby girl. I also got an old baby changing table that I'm going to restore for her. It has three drawers and a place to hang a blanker. I'm going to put things inside it for the baby shower, like extra gifts. But, I don;t know what. Moms and dads of newborns, what does she really need? What do you run out of or can never have too many of? |

| Number one thing you can never have enough of has to be diapers if you are going with disposables. But not the newborn size. Get size one. I also used a lot of onesies and a whole bunch of sleepers. My baby was born last October and warm sleepers were a must have since it was cold by the time he came home. |

| If she will be nursing get her a nursing cover. Babies need diapers. Also clothing larger than 3-6 months. http://nolamommy.blogspot.com/ |

| I love the car seat covers that go over an infant seat. Most of them have a flap to cover the babies face when you are actually outside. I hated putting my 12 year old in a snowsuit when he was a baby. If he fell asleep I had to either let him sweat or risk waking him up. With my 8 year old and my 2 year old I bought a cover for the carseat. When we went outside I would put a blanket on top of the baby and the cover on top of the blanket. They were always plenty warm, and I didn't have to undress them if they fell asleep.a pack or 2 of cloth diapers is good. They work well as bibs, burp rags, and all kinds of stuff. |

Of course diapers, washcloths bibs. Wipes. Also why not put something in there just for mommy after her child is born. Maybe hide a gift certificate for a good spa place. Or a watch the baby coupon. Also get some diaper rash ointment. the best even though the name is funny is buttpaste. they have it at all grocery stores and anywhere that baby items are sold. Your friend is lucky to have you, good luck |
