Since a computer is really pricey, especially for a wedding present, your guests may feel that you're greedy. Wedding gifts are usually things that a couple can share, like linens, dishes, small appliances,etc. To me, a computer is a more personal thing that won't really be shared. You might want to register for a gift card at the computer store or gift certificate, that way you don't put people out for asking for such an expensive gift.
