|
|
| We are having a shower with 60+ guests - 25-30 families. Is it crazy to register 3 places and have 100-250 items on each (some overlapping) ? Should we stick to one or two registry and have just a few things? |

| Since it is such a large guest list, two or three registries are fine. Perhaps even one that is on-line. Also, you will want to keep in mind where people live and what is close to them for shopping purposes. I think 100 items is a little bit too much though. Make sure you pick more inexpensive items since most people are only going to spend $20-$30 on an item, or less if they can't afford it. You will also want a few big ticket items because in many cases, people like to pool in together for a gift. |

| their is a site called myregistry.com and what it is u can register from like 20 different store and they can go on their and look want u won't and order it or go to the store to pick it up only problem is if do that u might get doubles on stuff if they go pick it up them self. i was going to use it but then i didn't. But if u want to use different stores that is how i would do it then. site is really good i liked it alot but i was like we only have like 20 people if that so was no point so i just did it from one place. but if u are having that many guest i would defintly do it that way. u can also receive cash gifts threw the site if want to sign up for that when u registered or people can just give u money if want to do it that way as well. good luck with it and congratulations to u are whoever is having the baby and wish u the best of luck. |

| I would register at 3 places, not a lot people are close to all the stores. If you get one than one item just return it, for something that you need that comes up. Get as much stuff as you can- babies are expensive!!I personally like when people register at more than one place, keeps my options open. Plus if all the budget friendly stuff is gone at one store, I can check the other store out. |

| I think it's fine. You are giving you're guests more choices of items and stores to purchase it in. The overlap may even work out to their advantage if one store is having a sale and the other is not or if one store is more convenient to them. |

| Sounds fine to me, but I have to wonder how you could have 3 registries with 100-250 items each and only have SOME overlapping. Perhaps I am just not realizing how much junk my daughter actually has. Just remember that you will need a place to put all of that stuff. |
