| I agree you should go to keep the peace. Just buy her diapers. Everyone can use them and you never really know if someone thought that was a thoughtful and basic gift or they just didn't feel like shopping! |

| Send your regrets that you cannot attend.It shows class yet lets them know that you are not interested in attending, and costs you nothing at all.It will also keep peace in the family. Nobody can FORCE you to go to any such thing if you do not want to go. Believe me, if this person is as you describe her, EVERYONE will understand. |

| I would not go. LOL You can not be forced to go anywhere. Be yourself.If you decide to go buy something inexpensive. It will send her a "message" you did not invest too much time or efforts on finding the present. As for me I would not go if I were in your situation and not a single person would force me to go. LOL If you are an honest and open person it will be difficult venture for you. It would for me.Good luck. |
