Hi All,I always prefer to give gift vouchers than gifts because as I see it people can get what they'd like. I might choose a gift that they don't really like and I also like receiving gift vouchers. What about you?

I'd rather have the money so I can actually buy something I want. People who get gift vouchers can't be bothered to look for a gift or assume that because you once bought a top from somewhere, you actually don't go antwhere else.

From my family and general friends, vouchers are nice and money even nicer. They give me the gift of choice - corny but true. From my very very closest friends I prefer presents. We always get each other real presents that remind us of times together or perhaps create more times together, like concert tickets.

Once upon a time gift giving was simple.People always appreciated the " gift "...because this is what it was.Today gift giving is extravagant...so l guess people do prefer a voucher.l believe it still takes the personal touch out of receiving that lovely.." present "

If its from someone who knows me well then a gift, if its from someone who doesn't know my likes dislikes, hobbies etc then a gift voucher.A gift voucher is a sensible option for honestly not having a clue as to what to get someone.
