Okay, I need to send a thank you gift basket to someone for letting me stay with her for a few days. I don't know what to send... she doesn't have any room for flowers in her tiny apartment, and I can't think of anything else this early in the AM!

Send her ... chocolates, a thank you card, bubble bath or shower gels, tea or coffeee... a bath robe or bedroom slippers.. maybe some other edibles since you said she doesn't have much room. Oh and gift cards are always great if you know places she likes to shop or eat. =)

Does it have to be a basket ? Women love pedicures and being pampered . try a small gift card at a nail/ facial salon .even a massage will be nice too !

Does she have any hobbies or collections? Example...a cute and inexpensive gift for a cook is a nice collander used as a basket...add a jar of specialty spaghetti sauce, a box of noodles, a spaghetti ladle and some fresh parmesan cheese (or grated) if you are maling).Or if she gardens you could use an empty flower pot as the basket and fill it with plant food, flower seeds, gardening gloves and a spade.

I used to make up my own little gift basket, tailored to the person receiving the gift. Ideas for what to put in the basket: Theme 1: herbal teas, with a pretty teacup, and a paperback book or just a bookmarkTheme 2: small, pre-wrapped cheeses, special types of crackers and a small cheese spreaderTheme 3: hot chocolate mixes, a mug, mini marshmallows, etc.Theme 4: potpourri, incense sticks, essential oils and a small soapstone incense burner, etc.Theme 5: a variety of chocolate bars or other candies, in a basket tied with a helium balloon that says "thank you"

If she has a tiny apartment, get her a set of good glass, or ceramic, jars to keep tea bags, sugar, cookies in the kitchen, or cotton balls or soaps in the bathroom.Help her manage her small space by giving her storage ideas!
