| hi im spending a couple nights at the vacation home of a family friend. what would be an appropriate gift for me to give the family as soon as i come in? wine is out of the question since im in high school. thanks |

| I always found a very large colorful bokay of flowers a great present. A thank you card is also a good idea. |

| Dawn has a great idea.. I would stick with a plant, flowers or if there is anything that they really like.. restaurants.. a gift card is great |

| something that show your appreciation. ie time or creativity not money. gift card is a bad idea. if it was me i would not even accept the gift card, i would say you were being silly and not to worry about it. just something simple to let them know you are greatful. Some type of dessert would be good. |
