|
|
| First of all, I came up with this idea because it wouldn't cost a lot of money (versus eating at a restaurant) and because between us we have 3 kids and sometimes it is hard to find a babysitter. Plus, my husband says he really loves my cooking. I read somewhere that the first anniversary gift is paper, so I thought about getting some fancy paper and printing a menu of things he especially likes and letting him "order" off the menu at home (this way, he can save the menu because he likes to save things like love notes, cards, etc that I've given him in the past). I plan to throw in special things like a homemade dessert and a bottle of wine and candles all over the kitchen and table to make it romantic. Now I'm second guessing myself and wondering if this is a dumb idea and/or if I should do something else that is better or more exciting. What do you guys think? Man Yogurt - LOL! No he has a 7 year old from his prior marriage, I have a 4 year old son and together we have a daughter who is almost 4 months old. |

| Sounds like a great idea. I'd make the menu include a little poem or something, or a little paragragh about how it's your first "paper' anniversary. It'd be very cute! |
