I'm actually going through the Academy as a Corrections officer as well, and I would REALLY either love a decent knife, a gun, or a tactical rail accessory like a light/laser combo for my handgun.A good duty belt wouldn't hurt either. Heck, I wouldn't mind a new video game either. If all else fails, you could just ask him, he might have different tastes.

Try Galls.com for various law enforcement, even corrections, gifts or ideas. But best yet, would be anything personal that would let him know that you love and respect him, as well as supporting him in his decision to work in the LE field.I got lots of gifts, ties, engraved pens, briefcase, flashlight, etc. But the one I cherished the most was a pendant of St. Michael. It showed me how much my wife loved me and wanted me to stay safe.Good luck and stay safe, to you and your husband.

Most cops like tasers. They are very popular right now.Another practical gift would be a cheap, stolen "throw-away" handgun. Most cops carry one around. That way, when they shoot an innocent victim, they can plant the gun on them, and say they were armed.
