No one can really tell you how much to spend on a gift. That should be decided based on your relationship with the couple and what you can afford. Also consider their personalities, hobbies, etc. Since they already seem to have what they need consider sending them a gift card from Home Depot or some other home store. I'm not a huge fan of gift cards but I think it's better than cash. The best gift would be reflective of your relationship so try a little shopping first and see what jumps out at you. Get a gift receipt, just in case.

I know people don't like this answer, but people want money as a wedding gift, plain and simple. Give what you can.

So get her something nice that she will like...like make a honeymoon survival kit. Two pairs of earplugs (to drown out the snoring), a bottle of champagne, some kind of party favor that says just married, two books for the long lazy afternoons, etc.

A picture is worth a million words, so they say! In that case I would suggest that if you know some of their hobbies or passions you could surprise them with a nice little portrait made from a photo depicting exactly what or whom they like. This can be done at http://www.paintyourlife.com for a reasonable fee and according to your specifications! They also do wonderful photo-printing on canvas in different designs. Please take a look at http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com for more information.

I think you should give the wedding couple something memorable from the heart. Custom handmade figurine is a unique gift for everyone!I would highly recommend you visit http://aweddinggiftidea.comTheir professional artists will make a wonderful figurine of them. I sent them my favorite pictures of my sister and they made incredible "mini-me". That was awesome! My sister was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to her as wedding gift.
