Some kind of fancy candle holder with nice candles, unless they have very specific tastes for their decor. A nice bottle of wine is also good.

you could give them a custom nameplate to tack outside their front door with their surname on it. it makes people feel like its already home, and they will be more comfortable with their surroundings.

Flowers, cookies, a small appliance, a cake, a covered dish where they can keep the dish after you all eat the food, a gift card, cash...

A nicely potted house plant makes a great housewarming gift. Just be sure to include the instructions for light and watering.

a beautiful pair of lush bath towels and have there name on them.buy cream or white which will go with any colour scheme
