Is there a difference between a Macy's Gift Card and a Macy's Gift Certificate?

I ask because I am considering redeeming some of my MyPoints for a"Gift Certificate" from Macy's, but it states it can be used in-store only... ? I would call them or go to their website, perhaps they have a better explanation. Back to top
