Get them something little because there are usually more then one of them. So get some jewelry or makeup kits.

I am thinking about going to the Coach outlet and getting the girls little wristlets if I can find some under 50 bucks. It's not too "weddingy" and chances are that they will use them again. Plus they are good quality. The sweatsuit idea is pretty good, but like others say, I would stay away from personalizing.A lot of wedding personalized trinkets and jewelry are not great quality and people do not end up using them again. I don't really want to carry about items with my initial on it, it's just not my style. My friend gave me a gift card to a spa, which was a great idea in theory, but I just never wound up using it.

There are LL beans bags you can personalize and fill up. I did that but forgot to personalize them. The whole sweat suit I wouldn't do because your bridemaids will come at different times and it would be a waste maybe but great idea. Fill with jewerly. You could pay for their hari?? Hmm there is so much to do. I would give something they can use that day that they normally would pay for but don't have to since it is your wedding. Less expense for them.

You can buy things in bulk on overstock.com that are actually cute: a set of pearls, diamond stud earrings, other gold earrings, etc. And if you use their 10% off coupons (just google for some) - it's actually pretty reasonable. I did this and the pearl necklaces I bought ended up being around $35/ea. Then I am picking up little things along the way to add to a "care package" type thing. Notecards from Target with each of their initials. OPI polish they can use for the big day. A pair of cheapo flip flops they can throw on at the reception (after all the pics have been taken!), and I am paying for the salon in the hotel to do their eye make up ($20/each). I'm sure I'll find some other things to throw into the basket. But, that's what I'm doing for now! I also thought of buying some atomizers from Sephora and buying one bottel of Chanel perfume. Then putting some of the perfume in each of the travel atomizers. Just a thought, though, don't know how practical that is.

the sweatsuits are a great ideal, you could have their names studded or add a little bling to the back, that way they can wear them again and again and to add to it, you can have tanks or tees made that say bridesmaid on the front, so they do have something to remind them of that special day. I'm giving the bridesmaid tees and sterling silver initial charm bracelets. I'm also doing a cake pull at my bridal shower, so what ever charm they pull it can be added to they're bracelet
