| i bought three 50$ gift cards for my friends, they are triplets. the gift cards were sold at a CVS, it was a Visa 50$ giftcard thing. the card was inside a envelope and the lady just scanned the same one three times. so im wondering if the other ones will work because it didn't seem like she even scanned teh card itself, just the packaging. is it possible the other ones wont work ?do they need to be scanned as well ?k, thanks [: and also- they didn't even swipe the first one. they just scanned the outer packaging. odd. |

| Oh my.From what you explains, it sounds as if only one of them is going to end up working. I know what you mean about scanning them, to get the actual price, but what about SWIPING them? Usually what they do is scan the package, and then swipe the card to add the balance. If you've yet to give those cards to your friends, definitely take the cards and your receipt down to the CVS you bought them at and ask them exactly what you asked us here. Only they will know for SURE.Just, again, make sure you have that receipt. Without the receipt, for all they know you just pulled those cards off the shelf. |
