| Well, my Sisters birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and I though about getting her a gift card or certificate from MAC...I have gone there before but i never noticed if they sell them? Also, i kind of thought it would be nice for her to have a make-over? Does anyone know about how much do they charge for make-overs? Do they accept tips?? ??? I know...so many?'s Any advice will help....Thanks in Advance!! |

| Yes but here's the problem with the gift cards ...if you buy a gift card for MAC at a department store (like Macys, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom) you can only redeem that gift card at those department stores ... you cannot use it at a MAC store or MAC PRO storeif you purchase the gift card at the actual MAC store then you can only redeem that one in a MAC store and not the Department Storesit's wierd, I dont see why all gift cards can't be used where ever MAC is soldif you want to do a makeover for her, you should call the MAC store (or department store counter) and make an appointment as the clientelle there is very popular and it get's busy very fast.. or you can wait in line until the store or counter opens .. customers don't come to the stores until an hour after the stores usually opensome MAC stores do charge ($50+)... and some counters on the department store don't charge a fee- you usually have to buy their products to get a makeover though.. dont quote me though because all store policies are different |
