| jewellery is always a good bet ... a bracelet or pair of earrings.Or u could buy something based on her specific tastes ... the latest cd from her favourite band or a book from her favourite author ... that kind of stuff.Good luck. |

| If you're looking for an original gift idea, I would check out soapcard.com. They make heart shaped soaps with your personalized message or picture inside. I got one for my mother last year and she thought it was super cute! |

| Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle. Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard. Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling. |

| Think about things that you two have shared that are special to her or things you know about her personality. Does she have a favorite color? Buy several girlie things, scarfs, hair clips, socks, journal, etc in that color. Is she into gourmet foods? Buy several exotic condiments and pate that she might love to try, but wouldn't purchase for herself. Does she love chocolate? Treat her to several pieces of unique high-end chocolates. Do you see where I'm going with this? Make it about her, but with the knowledge you've gained from being close friends. She'll love the thought and effort. |
