how about making an album with photos of you and your siblings, from birth to present, with added mementos from past celebrations like b-day parties, weddings, etc.

there are many websites that can help you. Depending on your age, you can adapt any gift for and from any age. You just gotta be creative. You must be if you're looking to make something homemade. Here's a site I found, it's a good start. Good luck!

Give her gift certificates that relieve her of the most tedious and unrewarding activities of motherhood-laundry, cooking, dusting, vacuuming, dish washing, bed making, grocery shopping, meal planning. bathroom cleaning, etc. And in place of those chores offer her thing that pamper her.

I found a little studio near home where you paint pottery. Everything is already made, but you get to paint it however you want. Everything from random little nick-nacks, to figurines, to frames, to plates, bowls and serving dishes. I'm painting a beautiful serving bowl for my mother. I've already spent a few hours on it and it's not quite done yet. I know she'll love it.
