Take a clue from the TV show the bachelor, make him something that will show him you care. Does he like sports? What are his interests. Make a colage of pictures of the two of you over the years you have been together and frame it. Have you save any momentos from trips together you could add them in. He will love it.

My boyfriend and I, for our 2 year anni rented a swanky hotel room in a neighboring popular big city of where we live. We got one of the VIP rooms on the top floor, had an amazing dinner, went to the pool & sauna, and then had professional massages in-room before checking out. It was just an overnight trip but it was wonderful. Hotel, food, & massages we spent about $350. To save money- you could skip the massages and just spend a day away from your everyday routine - just the two of you. Or, forget the hotel, and just have professional massages at a nearby spa.

Hi, Depends what he enjoys doing, maybe skiing for example. Find a photo of him when skiing and use a service like http://www.paintyourlife.com/They transform the photo into unique painting. Something he will remember. The painting is done by professional artists.Starting from $99. You have several options to choose from. They deliver it and all that stuff; you just provide the photo. See examples on the site.Karl Sultana
